Sarawood is located in the Highlands, a quiet, tree-lined residential neighborhood of gracious private homes. One or more staff are always on duty around-the-clock, and Bill and Marjorie are available at all times. Sarawood has a complete smoke detector and sprinkler system, with a direct fire alarm connection to the Holyoke Fire Department. |
Ornate fireplaces, elegant wood paneling and detailing from the turn of the century, high ceilings and oversized windows are just part of Sarawood's appeal. You'll enjoy the upstairs porch, with its views of the rear garden and in-ground swimming pool; an elevator and gentle low-rise steps throughout the house; and comfortably appointed private rooms of different sizes, with or without bath, which are available furnished or ready to decorate or accent with your own furniture. |

Public rooms include a living room, foyer/sitting area, formal dining room, television room, recreation areas and lounges on the upper floors. Guest accommodations, including meals and room, are available to visiting family members. |
Three complete meals are served each day in the dining room, prepared according to recommended dietary standards, with refreshments available throughout the day. Linens are changed weekly and complete cleaning is done at scheduled times, with residents taking responsibility for daily room maintenance. All utilities except telephone are provided at no cost, with laundry services provided for a nominal fee. All rooms are cable-ready. |

Fine restaurants for all budgets, museums, shopping from Northampton's Main Street to the newly-expanded Ingleside Mall, theater and music, Golden Age clubs, recreational and spectator sports, parks, beautiful scenery, bingo and more are nearby. Weekly shopping trips by van are provided, and transportation for other needs can be arranged. |
